Frequently asked questions

Is there really a free plan?+

Yes. The free plan is permanent, includes unlimited widget views, and ships star rich snippet schema so you can qualify for Google's review rich results without paying.

Do paid plans have a free trial?+

The Pro plan comes with a 14-day free trial. Your card is collected at checkout but nothing is charged until day 15, and cancelling during the trial costs nothing (your widgets simply return to the free plan). One trial per customer. All other paid plans are billed from day one and can be cancelled anytime.

What counts as a review source?+

A review source is one listing on Google, Trustpilot, Yelp, TripAdvisor, Facebook, Booking.com, Airbnb, Amazon, ProductReview.com.au, G2, Etsy, Capterra, App Store, Google Play, Expedia, OpenTable or eBay. Merging Google + Trustpilot into one widget uses two review sources.

Can I change plans later?+

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade any time from the dashboard. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period so you keep what you paid for.

Do you offer refunds?+

If a paid plan doesn't work out within the first 14 days, email support@reviewswidget.app and we'll refund in full — no forms.

What currency are prices in?+

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and are billed in AUD regardless of where you are. Your bank converts to your local currency at its own rate.

Do prices include taxes?+

Prices are shown ex-tax in AUD. GST, local sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where applicable based on your billing country.

What if I need two widgets, not one?+

Pro Duo is built for that: A$7/month (or A$70/year) for two review grids with every paid feature included — all 17 platforms, daily refresh, AI summaries, custom CSS, manual reviews and branding removal. Need more than two? Grow covers five grids.

Which plan do agencies need?+

Agencies managing many client sites should pick one of the Grow Business tiers, which scale from 20 to 200 grids. Managing one or two clients? Pro or Pro Duo is usually enough — you can move up at any time.

What does the free Google reviews widget include?+

The free plan is a genuinely free review widget for your website: one grid, live Google reviews, the grid and list layouts, unlimited views and star schema. It shows up to 8 reviews per grid and refreshes every 3 days, and it never expires.

Is there a free Trustpilot widget too?+

Trustpilot, Yelp, Facebook and the other 13 platforms sit on the paid plans. The free tier covers Google only, so if you need a free Trustpilot widget alongside Google reviews, Pro at its monthly price is the entry point.

Is the free plan enough for Squarespace, Wix or WordPress?+

For most small sites, yes. A free Google review widget in the grid or list layout embeds the same way on Squarespace, Wix, WordPress, Shopify and plain HTML — the paid plans add layouts, sources and the higher review caps, not a different embed.
