Privacy Policy

• Account information — your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile details Google shares (name, email, profile image).
• Widget configuration — the review sources you add, layout and colour settings, and the widgets you create.
• Review data — publicly available reviews retrieved from the platforms you connect (Google, Trustpilot, Yelp, TripAdvisor, Facebook), plus any reviews submitted through your own widget form.
• Billing information — subscription status and invoice history. Card details are handled by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
• Technical data — standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and timestamps, used for security and diagnostics.

We use your data to provide and maintain the service: creating and refreshing your widgets, authenticating your account, processing subscriptions, sending service-related email, responding to support requests, and detecting abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Reviews shown in your widget are retrieved from the public listing pages you nominate. We store a cached copy so your widget loads quickly, and we refresh it automatically every three days. Reviewer names and profile images are shown exactly as published on the source platform. If you remove a source or delete a widget, the associated cached reviews are removed with it.

We share data only with the providers required to run the service:

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
• Brevo — transactional email such as welcome messages, receipts and account notices.
• Apify — retrieval of publicly available reviews from review platforms.
• Cloud hosting and database providers — application hosting, authentication and data storage.

We use cookies and local browser storage that are necessary for the service to work — keeping you signed in and remembering editor preferences. The embeddable widget itself does not set tracking cookies on your visitors.

We keep account and widget data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your widgets, sources and cached reviews are deleted. Billing records are retained where we are required to keep them for tax and accounting purposes.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing support@reviewswidget.app. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, or to lodge a complaint with your local privacy regulator.

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access controls that limit it to your account. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong, unique password.

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced by email or in the dashboard, and the date at the top of this page will be updated.
