A modern review layout built for curiosity
Story Highlights presents genuine reviews as a compact horizontal strip. Automatic hooks help visitors choose a story, while the full viewer preserves the original review text, rating, author, date, source, photos and owner response.
The layout works especially well near a homepage introduction, product collection or service overview where a full review grid would demand too much vertical space. It uses the same connected sources and shared brand styling as every other layout.
Dedicated Story Highlights controls
| Control | Choices | What it changes |
|---|---|---|
| Bubble size | Compact, standard or large | The size and spacing of the story rail |
| Stories shown | 3–20 | The maximum number available in the viewer |
| Story order | Current, pinned, newest, highest or shuffle | Which customer stories appear first |
| Automatic progression | On or off | Whether the open viewer advances after a readable delay |
| Reading pace | Slow, medium or fast | The delay before the next story |
| Story details | Names, hooks and progress | The supporting information shown around each story |
| Loop | On or off | Whether navigation returns to the first story |
Responsive and accessible by design
The story rail remains swipeable on phones and tablets. The viewer supports previous and next buttons, keyboard arrow keys, Escape to close and visible focus states. Automatic progression pauses while a visitor interacts, and it is disabled when their device requests reduced motion.
Install it with one line
Choose Story Highlights in the widget editor, save your settings and paste the existing embed script into your website. Changing the stories, order or appearance later updates the installed widget without replacing the code.
Optional Custom CSS hooks
Advanced users can target the documented .rg-sh, .rg-sh-rail, .rg-sh-item and .rg-sh-modal selectors. Shared appearance controls remain the recommended option because they stay consistent across layouts.
